As MD, you should sack yourself for not knowing that, as FD.
Perhaps you could then sue yourself for unfair dismissal. Or maybe make the FD redundant.

Ahhh good point,
oh dear, I am going to be dissappointed with myself when i have my "annual pay review",
luckily i own 100% shares in a very generous company who gives excellent dividends so it's not all bad
