Just as long as you can defend the wholly and exclusively test, you can buy whatever furniture you like. Whilst this type of asset would be depreciated over maybe 5 years, they have a life that's a heck of a lot longer so you do need to think about why you need new stuff.

"When kitting out your home office, things like tables, chairs and filing cabinets used for storage will form part of the fixture and fittings. Again, these are allowable expenses. It’s important to note that office equipment, fixtures and fittings must be used wholly and exclusively for business usage if they are bought by your limited company".
I do have furniture but was changing. No manor house unfortunately. And I was thinking of just a 55" TV

As NLUK says, check with your accountant.
When I set up my limited company I bought a desk, chair and a few other bits. The chair and other low value stuff was expensed and the desk was classed as an asset with depreciation over four years IIRC.

Well, technically we aren't experts in what you can and can't expense. The expert in that area is an accountant. So why don't you ask them?
Also that is quite an old link yes. Have you thought about using google for a more up-to-date one? You can imagine it's been asked enough in the last few years. Funnily enough on the first google search page there is another article on CUK on exactly the same topic from 2019. That should be up to date enough let alone the millions of other articles.
How come you don't already have furniture? With the lack of details I am wondering if this is going to be one of those threads where we try help and then you ask something like, would my 82" tv in my office which i watch when working count. Or, can I expense a 200 year old antique walnut desk to keep in keeping with the furnishing and fittings of the manor house.
