Maybe stupid question - tax return
I am a newbie contractor, now finished contract and going travelling.
While I was contracting I had a managed limited company.
I started contracting May 2004, so does this mean my first tax return should be done in January 2005 for the tax year 2004-2005. As January isn't yet at the end fo the tax year I am thinking that my tax return for 2004-2005 doesn't have to be filed until Jan 2006???
Please feel free to hit me over the head if I am being a completely thick newbie.
:rolleyes
