The usual suspects on here for accounting all get positive feedback as a rule (SJD, Nixon Williams, 1st Accountancy (Upton & co).
With that in mind, surely it makes sense to go with the cheapest to maximize profits for your Ltd.
I'm currently in the position where my accountant is not the cheapest & I'm wondering why I haven't changed yet. Answers on a postcard . . .

A deposit is not unreasonable I guess it shows that you are serious and not a time waster. I use Nixon's and they are great at answering any questions and dealing with your affairs promptly.

Yeah I use them. I'm brand new to contracting and as such have made my finances a bit messy to start with but NW are on the case and they've answered all my queries promptly. Hopefully by the end of this month/start of Feb I'll be in the ideal position of just sending off paperwork and forgetting about doing anything other than logging onto various internet bank accounts. Plus they have possibly the best address for an accountancy firm.

The £100 is a deposit and it will be deducted from the first monthly payments. I have just started using them and they have been very efficient so far. Every query I emailed them has been replied within the day
