    1. You need to get an accountant.
    2. Have you served notice on your contract yet?
    3. How have you been paid so far?

  • Only done one month IT contract but now going abroad for good.

    Hi All,
A month back I created a Limited company and got a IT contract job which i have nearly done a month worth of work. Unfortunately I need to move back to my family in Africa. Therefore I need to wind down my company. I have not yet got an accountant - please can you advise will i need to pay tax on the amount I have already received and what should i do with the company? Do I need to let HMRC know that I'm leaving the country for good?
