    News Feeds

I need to include top news stories from the BBC, CNN etc in a web page.

I guess this is normally quite straightforward using RSS or something. The challenge I have is that this is for print media (all on a single A4 page) so what I want is summarised news in up to, say 300 characters. I've looked at Twitter but its hard weeding out the wheat from the chaff, besides a lot of it isn't verbose enough.

Anyone know of any news feeds that do this?

Ask admin for a CUK RSS feed. All important news topics are covered on CUK.

Whatever you use don't forget to check that the feed has returned data before processing the results.

I only mention it due to finding a bug identical to the above across multiple versions of a commercial product......
