What types of insurance can be payed for by company?

i.e. I'd like to have various insurance policies, like life, critical illness, health and was wondering which ones can be legally payed for by my ltd company.

Where would I go for this information? Any web links?

    Thanks.

The same as any other company - ie yes but slightly different policies, eg death in service rather than life.

Note that if you get yourco to pay eg PHI then the benefit will be paid to yourco, you will have to pay tax on it to get it out. If you pay yourself with post tax income, you get the benefit tax free.

however if the end benefit is considerably lower than a normal wage it may make sense to pay it out of the company, tax & NI aimed at higher earners.

Anyone got any web links on this subject?

        e.g. articles, analysis?

It would just be nice to be able to put more things through the company, but I haven't heard this side of things talked about very much.
