My contract is in Dublin and the schedule to it states clearly that:-
1) Accomodation will be provided.
2) The Client will pay for a flight out at the begining and end of the contract.
They are now saying that they will only provide accomodation M-F because they know I go home at weekends. I have told them that accommodation is implied as being 7 days/week. They say: " I do not agree with you that an implied term of your contract is that you should be provided with accommodation at all times, however, we are prepared to pay for your hotel nights whilst you stay in Ireland on business"
What do you think?
They are now considering paying for a hotel 7days/week but cant enter into a contract for an apartment. As a solution, should I take out the contract and invoice them the cost?
I am begining to think they are running into financial problems........
