so not only can the French not manage illegal migration they can't make cars plants work. Pity Nissan can.

Two born every minute: inside Nissan’s Sunderland factory by CAR Magazine

Join us on a tour of Europe's most efficient car factory
► Two cars roll off the production line every single minute
► Tour the home of the Qashqai, Q30 and more

As one of the most efficient car plants in the world, Nissan Sunderland builds half a million Qashqais, Jukes, Notes, Leafs and now Infiniti Q30s a year, at such a speed that raw material is turned into a car in less than a day. Extrapolate Henry Ford’s eureka moment forward through a century of technological progress and you wind up here, in a cathedral of manufacturing in which men, women and robots create 115 cars an hour in a heavy metal ballet of collaborative effort.

the UK runs several of the world’s most efficient plants
and just in case you think its a flash in the pan we have been doing it for years.

BBC News | BUSINESS | UK car plants most efficient in Europe

Nissan and Toyota's British car factories were the most efficient in Europe in 2000, followed by plants run by Ford and General Motors in Germany, according to a study published on Thursday.
A Volkswagen plant in Emden, Germany, making the Passat large family car, was the least efficient, according to World Markets Research Centre's (WMRC) annual European Automotive Productivity Index.

          FTFY

The Japanese can make any manufacturing plant in Europe the most efficient in Europe wherever they go.

The last "successful" British car to roll off the production line was the Austin Princess.

          I'm alright Jack

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

You just don't see automotive engineering of that quality any more....

so the French-German-American Opel & Vauxhall weren't as efficient as Nissan.

Seems a common thread, but the suggestion being based in the UK is significant is of course Bollux

The point I was making was that it is perfectly possible to run a very efficient car plant in the UK. Just that the French weren't up to it.

Sorry if you find that difficult to understand as usual.

                    Did you understand this bit:

It seems that the French are required to get UK car manufacturers up to standard however it looks like a difficult job which is probably why they are looking at moving it offshore...Maybe they could move your reasoning offshore to get it up to a reasonable standard
