    Recommendation for Tax advisor.

    Hi,
Looking to settle my contractor loans. Am looking for recommended Tax advisor to manage the process and agreements with HMRC.
Please only recommend someone you have personally used to settle contractor loans with HMRC, rather than hearsay.

    Many Thanks in advance.

If only there was a big group on here with a tax advisor that posted regularly on this matter......

Any accountant could do it, mind you - it was an accountant and agency that recommended I use a scheme in the first place.

Just go to WTT - they're pretty straightforward and know the details which mean that you're likely to have something tight. You'll also need advice on IHT which WTT will be able to give as they probably have an understanding of whatever scheme you used.

I'm telling HMRC to **** off as I have no idea what 'voluntary' contribution to give them as I, and they, have no idea how much the scheme gave me all those years ago.

Same position as many here but as I understand it HMRC will just "estimate" a figure based on the salary you received and you will have to pay tax due on that guess.
