Not really a contractor scheme as such obviously.

A cursory glance at my profile will show you that I used to work at FCP and whilst I had nothing to do with the arrangements here, I do retain a knowledge of the intention, execution and background.

I would be willing to offer a group, gratis, any information that may prove useful.

I have no intention of becoming involved in any process that sees an exit/deal/tax/recompense or other action.

    PM if interested.

Thanks Graham .. yes we spoke about this over coffee once a few years back pre-BIG group days ... and you were very helpful then and joined BIG group for the loan scheme stuff on the back of that.

Just wondered if any other people (contractors or not) that have letters from HMRC on this sipp arrangement ?

future capital partners - another round of chasers

Amidst all the loan charge noise

This future capital partners closure notice hangs over me like a dark cloud

Newport tax management is one option

        Cocoon (Tim levys 2nd attempt)

or sit and wait for the CN and deal with it when the brexit/loan charge dust settles

for now save money aside waiting for the inevitable bill :-(

I'd be tempted to avoid using any of the parties involved in the original planning, structuring and selling of a scheme for an exit or management.

Whilst I'm sure that they have valuable information and perhaps insight, they will also have an inherent conflict of interest which may (deliberately or otherwise) influence their advice.

Research the background of the individuals in the firms above very carefully before deciding.

Cheers Graham .. tho Tim has a big position himself in it ... Newport Tax are not getting involved with him ... for now I am sitting on the sides as I have bigger focus on the LCAG/bn66 stuff !!

Surprised no-one else on cuk has exposure to these tbh

HMRC writing to people involved now to offer settlement - shame there wasnt any group able to fight this unlike other schemes so facing a painful bill and interest ... HMRC sat on it from 2015 to 2023 so 8 years of interest :-(

DM me if you are impacted

Just got my tax bill and interest too. First time that they’ve contacted me and then charge interest. If they’d billed me back in 2015 I’d have coughed up to avoid paying interest. Grossly unfair that they can slap interest on like this.
