    Restricing/blocking wifi

Sure I'm not the only one with a teenage kid....

Obvious solution is change password but then thats just hassle for everyone else, sky box, etc etc.

Ideal would be a way to disable for specific devices (his pc and phone, sky maybe) or allow for specific devices and be able to turn off easily (remotely if possible).

Any such thing exists? BTW got a TP link router (to replace the bog standard bt one).

Now all I need to do is restrict sky without taking card out.

What exactly are you wanting to restrict?
Is it the speed he gets, the time he spends online, the amount of data?

All easily solved if you explain what you are wanting.

Ability to turn off wi-fi to devices of my choosing but leave everyone else unaffected.

Ideally something that can be done remotely. Or easily at home by the mrs.

You could buy a different, cloud managed access point. Create an SSID for you and and SSID for his stuff... then from anywhere you can disable the SSID whenever you like.

You could probably create time schedule rules for it so his xbox is disconnected at a certain time or whatever

Plenty options out there, just probably not with standard issue ISP routers?

Mybe you should look at disabling your own access.

Didn't you have an online porn provider chasing you for non-payment a year, or so, ago?

Turns out it was a box set of One Man and His Dog.
