    £ 770 a day in Worthing anyone?

Doesn't this just make a mockery of Public Sector IR35?

A rate that is probably double what it should be and we, the tax payers (sometimes), are footing the bill. Aside from that, what is the impact on the private sector? Can't see them stumping up rates like that or even close.

Love the write the theme tune, sing the theme tune bucket list for a front end dev as usual, probably justifies that rate if they can find such a Unicorn...

System administration and configuration management skills.
Experience of building and scaling high-traffic websites.
    Although:

    including use of terminal.

Comes under the typical government meddling where they want to be seen to do the right thing (everyone paying their 'fair share' of tax) but go about solving it in totally the wrong way.

If they'd gone the other way and made PS contracts 100% tax free and direct B2B with the contractor (so no need for agencies or payroll companies wanting their cut), they could have reduced the rates and overall outlay from the taxpayer, and attracted better candidates away from the private sector that may have had a chance of sorting out their multitude of expensive IT projects before they failed.
Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down. Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

Due to minister, senior civil servant, intra-department and external department politicking and meddling that would never happen.....
