Apologies if this is in another thread or been previously discussed

Has anyone recd a letter from their tax consultants/advisors/management company asking for a % of their loan agreement to be paid back which proves its a legitimate loan ?

    Rather than their accountant?

        Duly moved.

I remember this being discussed as a theoretical possibility many moons ago, but I can't recall anyone posting that this actually happened.

Thanks for moving to correct thread.

I know someone has recd a request today for 10% of the original loan. Just wondered whether anyone else received a letter and thoughts on this

          Thanks in advance

Doubt that. HMRC argument is IT is applicable before you are paying into EBT. So even if u return the loan does not matter - tax experts can correct me or give more details.

I have also received a demand from the EBT trustees for a 10% repayment. They have even offered instalment terms.
