    The anniversary card arrived!

Just popped up to the Locker to get it. I'll give it ten or fifteen more minutes for the rush hour to die down, then head off to catch the last collection at the sorting office

The trip to the sorting office has been done, so with a bit of luck the anniversary card will arrive on time

And the solicitor now has - or will have, when the post gets there - my signature on a contract and various deeds, ready for whenever they decide on a launch date

So it begins: the new resident upstairs has settled in enough to have started playing tulip music loud enough to overcome the excellent soundproofing

I doubt it will get there tomorrow - the Royal Mail are on strike tomorrow.

Oh well, the solicitor's on holiday this week, and everybody else's cards will be late too

Tea has been TTD beer-battered cod fillet with chips and beans. Not chunky, but nice enough

Hedgehog city outside tonight, but I fear the heavy rain over the last few days may have fried one of the cameras.

                Anyway, TFBSZ.

The car earlier was a Toyota Celica Supra, the double-barrelled name being because it was from the early 1980s, before the Supra officially became a thing in its own right. Seemed like a decent enough bit of kit

Then the opal hunters had their usual varying fortunes.

Whilst dining, it was the latest episode of Ambulance

And finally the gold diggers were coming to the end of their various seasons, which inevitably involved one of them succumbing to mild heatstroke; but most of them ended up doing pretty well, though no doubt they'll start their next season complaining about being broke again

                  Goodnight all

                    Morning denizens

Strands of thin and patchy cloud out, so I think it'll start sunny once the sun gets a bit higher, though it's also due to get cloudier towards lunchtime. Currently 10°C, expected high of 16° this afternoon, and the barometers are bouncing back again at 1002/1010mB. Rain predicted for this evening, though I reckon that will just be occasional drizzle rather than anything cataclysmic

                      Morning all

Damp. Cloudy but not raining. Currently 12 degrees with a high of 17 expected. Sunshine and showers forecast. Barometer up to 1013 mBar.

                      Off to ClientCo's office today.
