After a flurry of activity, I am now coasting towards the end of my time on this project.

Just writing up handover notes. The PM has no idea who's going to take on my work afterwards and thinks the business haven't yet twigged that they're going to have to do it themselves.
I did a stroll around Windsor on 2 Oct for Alzheimer's Society. You can chuck me a few quid here if you like: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/lmallen-1

I'm switching into flurry mode now everything is set up

But at least the various minor holdups gave me time to drape the mundane laundry, which I'd started after the morning meeting, on the clotheshorse

I think I may go for a walk around the block (without the thick tights today) soon. Maybe I'll find a cake shop

I'm not sure what to have for lunch; I think the only things I have in are things I've already had this week and am a bit bored of. Might pop to Iceland for some frozen Greggs goodies

Though now I think about it, I have some frozen cooked sausage rolls from the other week. Could always thaw one of those in the microwave.

A walk to Iceland might sort your green ring out

Unlikely - it's so close, it's got the same postcode as us

Lunch has indeed been one of my homemade sausage rolls, defrosted

I started a walk but the new shoes I decided I'd try out attacked the backs of my heels so I had to cut it short. I'll have to wear protection to break those in then.

Anyway, cooler than yesterday, hazy, but nice enough.

The chestnut tree seems to be enjoying the sunshine so much, it's starting to unfurl some of its buds
