I have kept the radio on this evening, some jazz stuff going on for the past hour or so.

I was meant to go to the shop but I didn't.

Dinner was random freezer stuff as I fancied a change from Korean / Malaysian.

Tea has been the remaining leg and wing of the Big Chicken, reheated, with chips and tomato sauce. Very tasty

So tomorrow will be soupmaking day.

Entertainment (continued continued): HSB S5 E9 "Low Blow " wherein our heroes get stuck in Las Vegas when J.D. 's chequie (or check) bounces & the travel agent voids the tickets. Meanwhile the arrangers of the assassination attempt get busted.

Tonight's classic movie was Night Train to Munich (1940), in which Rex Harrison is a British secret agent trying to get a Czech armour plating specialist out of Germany as war is declared. Many years since I've seen this one; it's good stuff, though they really needed to make up their mind whether Paul von Hernried's character was Gestapo or SS, as he was referred to as both at different times, even being described as Gestapo while dressed in an SS uniform

Very cloudy but the white type, not the grey. My weather app says it's 'mostly sunny' at the moment. Currently 17 degrees with a forecast high of 24 later. No precipitation expected. Slight fall on the barometer to 1022 mBar.

First coffee being drunk.

Half day as I'm off to Wyboston this afternoon to pick up HWMBO.

Morning denizens

There's a layer of white cloud out there which seems to have got thicker quite quickly - the sun was breaking through a lot half-an-hour ago, but seems to have fizzled out for now. No rain though, 16°C and supposedly heading for the low twenties later
