I am just unsure whether to take the next step - pay for a few lessons, get a club fitting, etc and put pressure on myself to be better or simply enjoy the level I'm at of being delighted by the good shots rather than beating myself up over the bad ones. A better set of golf balls seems the equivalent of whacking extra RAM in a PC, i.e. best bang for buck. It'll hurst less losing a Srixon Distance than it would a Titleist Pro V1 given the near £3/ball price difference. I'm just not sure that I can justify, say, £400+ on a set of clubs if I cannot commit to getting to a good handicap as an end game.
Just enjoy a good walk ruined!

        Ey up, Samuel's in....

Lunch: Costco Wagyu Burger. Better than a normal burger, for sure. Not as good as other wagyu burgers but beggars, choosers, etc.

Exercise bicycling done, green ring closed

There's an ambulance outside the doctor's. Hope they weren't waiting for me, because they'll be disappointed

Today's weigh-in showed the lowest weight I've been since I put it all back on after the heart surgery

Though that probably just means I've accidentally shifted the bathroom scales slightly, the floor in there being sufficiently uneven that I can move them a quarter of an inch and instantly gain or lose up to three pounds

My scales are like that. I have a very specific spot they have to be placed in to ensure consistent measurement.

They've just gone. Only the driver was sitting up front, which implies they've got a patient in the back

Lunch time. And, as I have three hours of back to back meetings this afternoon, I am (after I post this) stepping away from my desk for a full hour.

A quick walk about, as it seems to be brightened up a bit, and then a bite to eat.

I accidentally kicked them the other day, and had to spend five minutes shifting them around a few millimetres at a time until I got them showing the same weight they had shortly before

As I bought four hotdogs and four finger buns, lunch was once again a hot dog in a bun.

This time I bothered to make up some proper mustard. That stuff definitely clears parts Dijon simply cannot reach!
