I decided to chop em up and burn them to make room
I could of used those to access the 6ft of old tree trunk at the bottom of my garden. I was planning to stick a little seat on top so I could sit with a vodka and my little puppet parrot and gaze at the woods behind.

Maybe live there, like my hero Simeon Stylites.

          Ribs and chips for tea

I had another go at that mango-chutney-based BBQ sauce recipe I cobbled together last October, and it turned out very nice again

I use the Sainsbury’s TTD mango chutney, which they keep with the other pickles and chutneys and which is rather different to the Sharwood’s mango chutney they stock in the vicinity of the poppadoms.

Entertainment (continued) (continued): John Wick 3: Parabellum: totally mad, but quite fun in its nonsensical sort of way.

Body count over the 3 is 299.

Tonight I managed to get the BondWatch project over the line and ready for the start of the Daniel Craig era by watching Die Another Day (2002). Pretty mediocre, with some good set pieces but leaning much too heavily on the standard tropes to carry it over the gaps. Still, there have been worse ones.

I’m not a huge fan of Bond film songs, but I’d have to say Madonna’s contribution to this one is probably the worst so far. I imagine it sounded dated within a month or two of the film being released, never mind now, and it had nothing whatsoever to recommend it before that

Anyway, now I can finally get on to Casino Royale (I think that’s next, anyway) unless, in a moment of madness, I decide to give Octopussy another chance, that being the only one I abandoned watching

I decided to chop em up and burn them to make room. Separately, I was going buy a bike rack to fix to the wall to further tidy things, but then in a fit of genius i've screwed a short section of chopped up ladders to the garage rafters and used a ratchet strap to hoist one of the kids bikes into a vertical position. Very happy with this. I've ordered another 4 ratchet straps for £7 off of Amazon which will deal with all but the best bike. Savings you ask? ~£42, AND the adjustable nature of the ratchet strap means adult and child bikes can all be accommodated at an appropriate height, making it a better solution.

Did he die from falling off a broken ladder?
