Very well done. I alwatys think that exercise gets easier as the weather improves and there is more light.

              Evening denizens

              I've been shopping

I decided to pop into Borders to see if they had a copy of High Performance MySQL. They didn't, but I chanced upon a splendid tome entitled Mathematics and Physics for Programmers. It's aimed specifically at game developers, and jolly good it looks too

I learned or worked out at least some of this stuff when I was a games developer, so a lot of it will just be recapitulating stuff I already know; but there's bound to be plenty of new stuff, or better ways of doing things than I ever worked out

Best of all, they've got a special offer on all computing books at the moment, so it was £7.49 less than the Amazon price

Also purchased: The Collected Poems of A E Housman and 100 Short Stories by O Henry

I lost some weight today by the simple process of having my hair cut - it hadn't been done for months

There are some great books by Charles River Media - the "gems" series is pretty good and held in high regard (mostly).
Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?

Michael Abrash's Graphics Programming Black Book was probably the last title I bought on the subject though - now a free download. Jeff Atwood likes it too.
