If Dan is saying wait and Elysium stance is take advice then how can they be working together as this seems quite contradictory to a simple man as myself?
Think I'll take Dan's advice for now

Just looking at West 28 website (about and services) [Mod: link removed] may be reading it wrong but my take is they act on behalf of someone else? Who are the businesses and insolvency practitioners in this case? They also appear to have updated their website, previous one had a lovely picture of Mr Arnold.

And don’t worry about their website, it’s crap and doesn’t meet the legal requirements for a business website.

I was a litigant in person which is where I came across term Mckensie Friend.
Reason being I was unwilling to run up huge legal bill for someone to present the evidence and case I had collated.

Anyone who has friend or family member with relevant experience to their case can support you in court.

It was daunting especially walking into to face the other side's barrister and solicitors.
However I had collected all evidence and got my files together.

The other side were strident, dismissive of everything I said. They spoke legal language but the judge listened to both sides and ruled in my favour.

The evidence I provided proved there was no case to answer. Their legal posturing didn't fool the judge who was an expert in that field.

Lucky for them I didn't come with costs but the court did.

I'm sure I will get banned because apparently advising people not to ignore any letters or demands and to seek legal advice with anybody they are comfortable with is a bad thing lol...

I have at no time recommended anybody to go to Elysium or any other Legal Firm.

This is very easily to check.

I have simply said that they should legal advice.

West 28 are simply not going to away no matter what anybody thinks. This matter is not simply going to go away no matter what anybody thinks.

West 28 have already made significant profit from this and they prey on those who think that they can either ignore everything or handle it themselves.

Lots of people like to play Internet Lawyer, good luck to them, however in a matter which is as complex as this, that has dragged on for years now, that has caused significant mental anguish for thousands of people and has cost them their homes, personally I would seek advice from a professional but hey, again apparently that is bad advice on this sub.

This will be my last post as I have already been threatened with being banned of which I have no doubt that will happen now.

I wish all those good fortune and I sincerely hope that everyone involved finds a favourable resolution.

Bravo .. this is very brave . well done for fighting back and very good on the part of the judge who ruled justly.

you must have had your records meticulously kept. Some of us may not be that organised but it would be very interesting to know more details on your story i.e. what type of scheme it was, what type of evidence you produced, the arguments you had against them and vice versa. This could really help us all to ensure we can collate similar evidence and have some defence prepared.

Once I was in a similar position in court that was not financially linked but another matter where I kept all my records, kept my head in the court room against the barristers who were trying to cross examine me on technical stuff to which I told straight to the judge that I was a layman in this and their questioning is inappropriate and disproportionate. The judge ruled in my favour even though my arguments were simple but based on facts and truthful, which judge acknowledged in his ruling. I could see the frustration on the other side that was armed to the teeth as compared to me.

Based on my experience, I helped at least 5 other people in similar situation on a forum like this who then subsequently went on to win their cases. On the same forum, a few months earlier, when I was gathering information, a kind woman had looked at my questions and went to great lengths to help me out without even knowing who I was. This should restore our faith in humanity and taking a stand against injustice... quite opposite the Keny boy and Socco scum of this earth..

If people are willing to pay money - why wouldn’t they take it - remember the police won’t call until a crime has been reported and until last week everyone was missing something very fundamental that Dan seems to have picked up.

As I’ve said continually for the past week - wait and see what Dan’s article says and the fall out from it. What we do know is that it will be properly researched

And as we have said continuously, get decent legal advice. But things have moved on and as W28 have not issued Statutory Demands the 14 days no longer applies, so you might as well wait until Dan’s report appears.
