Yes they are nonsense and purported loans but still best to err on the side of caution until this is finally put to bed.

And I agree with Eek as well since it was me who alerted Dan to the rising stench of zombie loans.

Cough - although I've mainly been speaking to him about more recent ones schemes but getting victims of them to come forward has been virtually impossible.

Thanks for alerting me to Dan. Hopefully this could be a big step in the fight.

I know for sure they are actively monitoring this forum. Their last email has really annoyed me.

Not said this before but one of the options they have put forward to continue this work is settling! They have put that as an option and want everyone to pay £2800 to settle!
So Elysium have lost one of their cash-cows now and are starting to panic.

i do hope that Dan mentions the other firms who have profiteered from the schemes

Elysium really made a meal of their group strategy in order to maximise profits. Telling people they may have to testify, even getting people who would sign up with them to contemplate settling. I have the correspondence they sent out. Makes me sick.

Elysium Law came recommended to us by Andy Wood of Etc Tax during the Felicitas debacle. Etc Tax actually did a decent job responding to Felicitas's demands, all pro bono. But they mentioned that they are essentially an accountancy and tax firm, and even though Andy is a tax barrister, he isn't currently practicing so he would have to pass further action over to a law firm, and he mentioned Richard Gray and Elysium Law. That is the backstory of how Elysium Law came onto the scene. Based on our interaction with Etc Tax, I still think Andy Wood was a genuine guy though, but as usual keep your guard up when dealing with these companies. You don't want to end up being kicked further when you are already down.
