Does anyone have a telephone number for West 28th? Prefer to call rather than write. -

I've ignored it to date as they have never provided any paper work up front ... not a thing, however, on this occasion I'm going to do a data SAR to see if they actually have anything to share .. and if so ... what!
Most of the docs we had went to the solicitors dealing with the case. Hopefully your request will either just make them ignore you or reveal something which means they have no claim.Leave a comment:

Their proof of owning the loans was in part vague, in other parts confusing but they had proof.
It went away last time and now it's back.Leave a comment:

- Refute their allegation in writing
- Request all the data they hold on you via a data SAR (Data protection laws require them to respond within one calendar month).
They will be expected to prove the alleged loan exists and they will also be expected to prove the deed of assignment from the original lender to all prior lenders is legally binding, including copies of all notifications making people aware.
IMHO it will go the same way all the previous attempts have gone.
Amateur QC's need not respond.

Perhaps the next time the debt goes up for sale we should join together and buy it ourselves.
