    With 20/20 hindsight, many would agree that at least some employment/contractor structures created in the past never passed the smell test. However, many also feel that disguised remuneration (DR) itself crosses the line between legitimately tackling abuse and unfairly punishing individuals who entered into arrangements in good faith.

    Hindsight is a wonderful thing. At the time it all seemed perfectly straightforward to bill clients via a Jersey film development company, and then receive from a Dutch Antilles trust, loans denominated in a fast depreciating foreign currency.
