Yeah, sounds like scare tactics to get me to pay. They've got straight from 'you owe us this imagined money' to 'we're sending the bailiffs in'...

Pretty sure there are quite a few steps before that happens, including court, or am I wrong?

But your 90 days to pay the APN must have expired to be in contact with the DMB ? Did you make a representation ? Looks like you are coming into this very late and I would recommend you take specialist advice. They can then look at your personal circumstance, timeline of events etc... and advise you of your options.

I did contact them, which they pretty much ignored and pressed on with the 'give us the money'. My accountant advised to contact them again, but also advised that the APN will HAVE to paid.

Meaning no disrespect to your accountant, but it sounds (from what you have posted) that he isn't up to speed with this particular scenario and due to the nature of how new it all is, possibly not that experienced with dealing with such issues. You really need a tax specialist/advisor.

There are plenty around. I obviously have a biased opinion on who to recommend and that isn't difficult to work out, but it is up to you to decide. Although what ever you do decide, do it quick !!!

I have joined Big Group last night, and have also contacted them about this. I am quite worried about this, as it appears that Hector is intent on riding roughshod over everyone. Thanks for your advice on this.
