Is this the door password or something?

If so I guess the response is - "Greed is good!"

Enter the world of investment banking, brother!

Or, more seriously, the work I do is stressful, difficult and not that interesting (like many people I have worked with) - I do it purely for the money.

Not entirely true, I am sure there are some managers that fit this profile, but I have worked there for 4.5 years on 2 contracts and was very happy there.

I was lucky with the team I worked with an we still meet up for drinks a couple of times a year even though the team is all over the place now.

So you don't feel that you're a 'member of the JPMorgan family'? (as their corporate cackspokesperson calls it)
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

Being a "member of the JPMorgan family" must be a massive IR35 flag... Better to be the guy they call "Uncle" just because he's shagging your mum.

To be fair I don't work there but I would if it a gig popped up there and I was looking provided they paid enough. I am happy to be a member of their family for as long as they pay me an extortionate amount.

Actually IB's are a bunch of pussies when it comes to insulting staff compared to the newspaper industry. I was truly shocked at some of the behaviour including fisticuffs. Don't think it would be possible to be shocked anymore... Shame for this man though, he obviously didn't see a better way out.

Unlikely. Then used to have 10y and 3y rukle. then 2y rule. then 1y rule. They seem to be trying to get rid of all contractors.

But they can get all they need as permies.

Ah right, never mind then - don't fancy being a permie there
