I have'nt used ebay but those people who put in bids of 10 million are they then legally bound to pay up if the deal is closed?
As for the stroppy irishman he was on TV advocating any hacker to get on to ebay and screw it up.

Guest repliedRe: what are we doing instead?
what exactly is anyone on this board doing to improve anything?
It is freer trade the africans need, not donations that end up in the wrong pockets. They need to learn how to stand on their own feet. How many gigs has Saint Bob had to organise for India?Leave a comment:

Guest repliedI can picture Bliar copying Gelof's style in his next address to the people.
"Look it's like this, give us your fookin money, there's nurses starving in the streets. Just pay your 95% tax for fooks sake. Just do it. The whole of Britain's 3rd world immigrant population depends on your generosity. How can you sit at home, with your plasma TV's and Chelsea tractors, when these people can barely afford to keep their children in ring-tones and Nike's? Just give us your fookin money!"Leave a comment:

At least some of the money will go to charity, OK people see through the thin veneer but what exactly is anyone on this board doing to improve anything?Leave a comment:

Guest repliedTo be honest I'm sick of Geldof and his rich collection of pop stars telling me how it is my fault that the people in Africa are so poor. Champagne socialism at its best. The likes of Bono can forgoe a days pay to do a charity concert given the x hundred million he has in the bank. If theyr really wanted to help the poor then why not start by looking closer to home. How many Africans could be helped if Elton John didn't buy flowers for a month or so?Leave a comment:

(triggered by ebay's backing down to the blessed saintly Bob (just give us yer fockin munny, there's rulers in africa who only have very small fleets of limousines) Geldof).
So when the backlash against PC right-on minority-rule comes have you got any names in your little black books for attention?
