Haven't done the maffs, but wouldn't it make elections more "interesting" for the Tories if it was England alone?
Currently it doesn't seem they can get a majority due to there being too many dumbed-down spongers.

Labour don't want this for this very reason. It's effectively giving Conservatives a head start with only the northern spongers voting for them, well, and Croydon.

More tax per person. I'd love to see how they wangled that stat, for there's higher unemployment in Scotland.

With the UK government currently holding 81% of RBS Group, what are the bets that suddenly there are complaints that it should be passed as a whole to any new Scottish Government?

I say take a choice. Either relocate it to the UK and listen to the howls of anguish, or let it stay where it is and allow the public to decide how to change the Scottish banknotes it issues - suggestion: inspiring figures such as Margaret Thatcher, King Edward I, and that fat guy from Austin Powers.
