If your symptoms are bloody poo then try eating some fibre. Muesli for breakfast and fruit as a snack.Originally posted by SimonMac View PostWill book a trip to the doctor next time I am back home, in the mean time trying the detox
If you go cold turkey on the coffee you are going to feel pretty rough, expecting a belting headache and flu like aching. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment

Side note: you can tell whether you are middle class or not by whether you thought the answer to that question was "£5". Toffs and working class folk would both have thought the answer was "about 5 cups a day".Originally posted by SimonMac View PostCoffee - How much is too much?!Comment

Are you sleeping badly?Originally posted by SimonMac View PostI drink a lot of coffee, and I mean a lot, I am easily into double figures of normal cups of coffee during the day, topped up with Starbucks Doubleshot Espresso drinks, I try to counteract this with water, maybe 2 liters a day but I think I might need to go cold turkey for a bit to give the system a bit of a detox.
This is not going to be fun
Are you feeling nervous and paranoid?
Are you getting unexplained headaches?
if you answer no to all of those then don't worry about it?Coffee's for closersComment

Basically unless you're losing your appetite, losing weight, suffering a temperature in the evening or being sick ocasionally there's nothing to worry about.
If you have symptoms longer than a couple of weeks go and see a doc. You may have something like lactose intolerance or something equally harmless but might need treatment.I'm alright JackComment
