Insure.co.uk same policy details = £329 and I'll get over £25 back via quidco so £303.xx

I phoned Direct Line, told them about the "insure.co.uk" quote, they said they'd reduce my renewal to £449...

So, Insure.co.uk here I come. Via "Quidco" of course
Direct Line are infuriating to deal with. They wanted the exact number of years no claims confirmed, so I got that confirmed in writing. Quick scan/email job done? No. Direct Line DON'T HAVE ANY MEANS OF DEALING WITH THE CUSTOMER OTHER THAN PHONE OR SNAIL-MAIL!

FFS this is the 21st Century and they're 'investigating the possibility' of using email to communicate?

Mind you, I did wonder when the insurance small print demanded a man walk in front of my car waving a red flag.
