IMO the OP was very blasé about it, saying that it's all a bit far-fetched. I vehemently disagree with this and posted a robust response to that effect, suggesting that as far as there can be an antidote, talking to one's children about sex, porn and so on is a good idea.

As an aside, the OP posted some remarks about Tatchell, analingus, etc. My response was clearly not a response to these specific remarks, yet you went totally off the deep end as if I was advocating explaining this stuff in graphic detail to kids aged 11. Then you got all pedantic and pissy when I posted a mock "in OH's words" reply. It was supposed to be humorous, yet you accuse me of not being able to let it drop! Oh the irony!

I don't have aspergers, and the more you seem keen on attacking me, and not my argument dilutes yours somewhat.

I don't disagree, in any way shape or form, that sex has to be discussed with kids. as I have said, we are already approaching it with the 8 year old, and obviously that will help define what we say to the others. I also agree we have to address porn, for the reasons you have pointed out. However, suggesting we look at 'lecherously perverted sex acts like analingus' isn't on the course I am afraid, and I believe rightly so, henc emy original response.

What you seem to be blind to, is that I agree with what you're saying, but not your original post, as I think you didn't apply any thought to it, such was your eagerness to sledge Pacharan. That's cool, I am ok about that, however, don't try and dress it up as anything else.

Yes, I still find the assertions that this is going on in every town, village and hamlet (as the article puts it) a bit over the top. And the goings on I'm referring to is girls as young as 11 performing sex acts on rows of boys who they've met on Facebook.

But then again, I'm incredibly naive about what kids get up to.

In fact I read an article by that uber mischief maker, Tatchell, in which he espoused the discussion of (IMO) perverted sex acts with children (including anilingus) such that they can make informed decisions about their sex lives when they grow up.

Anyone talked to my kid about anything of that nature they'd be picking their teeth up off the ground.

Perhaps you should take time to talk to your kid about "things of that nature" rather than the macho posturing about knocking teeth out.

You quote him, you actually stated talk about sex rather than be macho, when it is acutely obvious to even a bear of small intellect, that he was referring directly to analingus, when he said if that was said to his kids he'd knock their teeth out. we had a girl called 'Queenie' as in , Queenie gobbler. She was closer to 13 than 11, and it wasnt rows of boys, but one at a time under millers bridge in Bootle.

When I became a dad, I made blooming sure I knew where they were , and made sure they were back home on time.
