Friends Rented Flat turned into Cannabis Factory !!

As the title says, a met with a friend of mine yesterday who I'd not spoken to in a while, who told me that he had rented a flat out to an apparently innocent young girl with a small child in tow, approximately 3 months ago. He had a call from a neighbour a few weeks ago to say the door had been booted in, and it turns out that the flat had been converted into a Cannabis Factory and the Police had been tipped off and found £250K worth of Cannabis in there.

The Police have been questioning my friend who has been fully co-operating but I think he still feels like they have an air of suspiscion about him, so is understandably worried. Also, the insurance he has on the property doesn't cover him for this type of damage - holes cut into the ceiling, floorboards up etc etc.

How bizarre !!!

Doubt it, my mate has a cannabis factory and he only turns over maybe a grand a month? Weed is cheap.

I know the media would have you believe that gangs of evil foreigners run these things but that is far from the norm, I would imagine most council estates have several local growers.

I know another guy who was raided 3 times, he got a tag on the 3rd occasion, hardly a deterrent.

I knew a guy who went into it wholesale. He was only caught because the police raided the wrong house.

Apparently, they have the know-how to rig the electricity meter so that it doesn't clock up correctly, maximising electricity usage but not arousing suspiscion...

Actually it is a known problem with the Viets & been going on for some time joys of multi culturalism

THey have their own meters for every x houses and they use that to audit the house readings. It is these ones the police us.

It really is a rinse a repeat process, they know they will get the place caught eventually so grow a batch and get out.

My neighbour is a cop working in the Asian area of the tulip hile I live in. He finds one of these house setups each month and happily shows me the pics of each find. The lights, vents and heating all professionally setup so even the neighbours can't smell anything.
