My Bosch dishwasher is very quiet as well but I've not had any problems with my Bosch drill and I use it a lot - yours must have been faulty. I've just bought a Bosch professional jigsaw - all their products feel solid (admittedly I've not been buying the base model)....my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...

Is it one of those cordless ones with a hand tightened chuck? Those are really glorified screwdrivers. One with a chuck that tightens with a key won't have that problem.Originally posted by Sysman View PostA mate has a Bosch dishwasher and it's amazingly quiet. My last Bosch drill was crap; no matter how much I tightened the clamp thingy, under heavy load it would spin without turning the drill bit. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment

Yep. I made the mistake of going for a bargain when I was in the middle of buying a whole houseful of kit.Originally posted by Lockhouse View PostMy Bosch dishwasher is very quiet as well but I've not had any problems with my Bosch drill and I use it a lot - yours must have been faulty. That's the one, except mine had a key as well. As I recall it wasn't too hot on grip for screwdriver work either. I ended up recycling it when the battery wouldn't hold its charge.Originally posted by doodab View PostIs it one of those cordless ones with a hand tightened chuck? It's almost embarrassing.
Sir Lord Fckwit of the BoE has let the cat out of the bag with hints of more money printing and no rate rises until GB has full employment (
), so never basically.
