Yeah, it's the first time I remember seeing scaffolding constructed to keep the rain out by having a covering over the whole building. I guess it's essential in Scotland where it rains more than suns.
Something the Grand Designs mob don't seem to bother with when 'construction has been delayed due to bad weather'. Probably makes for more dramatic tv.
I've seen that before on one of ?Beeny's? Property Ladder thingies* down in Brighton, when some lune had bought the top floor of a building & added a penthouse suite to it.
*Might have been a Grand design though.
