Anyone listen to Radio 4 last night on housing benefit.

Had a programme about housing benefit and people claiming it to live in expensive areas in London. Was in the car at the time and was well wound up by the time I got home. 'We have a right to live here' says the guy getting 2k a month benefit when asked why he can live there when families not on benefit have to downsize and worry about paying mortgages..

Can't remember the politician who was on there defending the new cuts but he was a top bloke. Black and white, no political please all guff. When asked about these people he said they had to move, middle class couples have to so they will as well. Nice to hear a politician sticking to his guns and saying people have to deal with it.

No doubt they invoke the "hooman right" law and get their housing benefit doubled.

How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

We already had this thread a couple of weeks back, was quite a long and decent discussion if anyone has a link.
