I wonder if they think I'm Indian?Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

Wasn't having a go at you CS. From time to time I work in a foreign language though and can imagine the mistakes I make being far worse than those that I see from BobOriginally posted by CheeseSlice View PostIts amazing just looking at wikipedia on this subject, there are quite a lot of them. I hope nobody has taken this thread to be some kind of racially motivated hate thread, it certainly wasn't meant to be. Apologies if anyone is offended in any way, but I just saw an email today which made me think of some of the memorable ones I've had over recent years and wanted to share some of them.
Current clientco has outsourced almost all IT development (though is now bringing it back in house), which means there are roughly 60 odd outsource resources onsite - some of them speak in excess of 8 languages just so they can run their offshore team...Proud owner of +5 Xeno Geek PointsComment

Whilst I was stationed in Germany, I took the trouble to try and learn the lingo. I got to the stage where they would reply to me in German. Trouble was, I often had no idea what they had said.Originally posted by CheeseSlice View PostYou should hear my french. I have mastered it to "choosing from the menu" level,
