He lived up to his name, as he reckoned his alsation was an ex MOD dog that only spoke Italian, had late night hoovering parties with his elderly mother (who he doted on) and would drag me out every night to see bands in the local pubs.

A glorious 6 months of beering it up and talking bollocks until 4 am.

    Halcyon days.
Blimey, wonder if I've actually met you, then.
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

Probably not, Knutsford is a big place.

Seriously unless you worked at AMEC or drank in the pubs in Northwich I doubt it.
Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.

I did stay opposite Radbroke barn (opposite Barclays) and drink in the pub round the corner (The whipping stocks I think)

Mostly drank in the Roebuck in Northwich with Mad Tim.

So did we, a couple of times.

That Whipping Stocks place is horrible IMO. I liked the Bells of Peover. Richard and Judy had their wedding reception there in the 80's you know.

Whipping stocks not so good, but beer exceptionally cheap.
I wonder which nutter you were in the Roebuck

Never made it to the Bells although drove past it every day wondering if I should pop in.

A prison cell with a cellmate who snored and insisted on have a dump in the middle of the night.

                    Cool smiley.
