Yup - they need to be held accountable - made an example of to warn future PoliticiansHow fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think -
No but ....Originally posted by SupremeSpod View Posttulip happens. Killing a couple more won't bring 'em back.
a) It would deter other MP's from doing the same
b) It help in the grieving process for the survivors
c) It would satisfy the lust for vengeance in so many
d) It would be highly entertaining see them suffer
e) The overseas PPV rights and DVD sales would bring in a mint. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

You've already displayed your contempt for the Police and your above post speaks volumes.Originally posted by HairyArsedBloke View PostNo but ....

Let me address your points individually.
a) The death sentence is not a deterrent, fact.
b) Tony Blair and Gordon Brown have not to my knowledge killed anyone.
c) Vengeance or Justice are not necessarily the same thing.
d) Entertaining? You're sick and your call for more Police to be shot clearly shows that - not remotely funny.
e) Same as d.
I doubt that there are many relatives of the Soldiers who lost their lives in recent conflicts would demand that Gordon Brown and Tony Blair be strung up. The relatives are more than likely proud that their boys did their duty and themselves proud.
Stick to something you know about, I think Gibbon has something he'd like to show you.

It's not your wishful thinking, it's your wilful avoidance of reality.Originally posted by Paddy View PostYou appear to be more concerned over my powerless fanciful wishful thinking rather than the thousands if not millions of real life victims who suffered and were killed as a result of Blair and Brown. This shows your political extremism.
The Iraq war would have happened regardless of whether the UK participated. The presence of British troops has arguably reduced the civilian death toll from what it might have been had the job been left to the Americans alone.
Given the choice was between joining our ally in an inevitable war or not participating, you also have to ask which option best served British interests, and perhaps remember that the then government put the decision to go to war to a vote in the house of commons, the first time this ever happened, and that the motion was passed by 412 to 149, with 151 of the "for" votes coming from the Tories and only 15 of them voting against (as opposed to nearly a quarter of labour MPs).
However unjust you consider the war, to say that millions have died "as a result of Blair and Brown" simply doesn't fit the facts. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment

That's the great thing about compassion, I don't need to. Empathy, now there's another good word.Originally posted by SupremeSpod View PostI don't know them, do you?Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment

Empathy? How? You didn't know him, you don't know them, it's just another tragic death.Originally posted by suityou01 View PostThat's the great thing about compassion, I don't need to. Empathy, now there's another good word.
He committed suicide, I've more sympathy for him.
