    http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2010/ju...hopping-basket

Budget: VAT rise will add £33 to average shopping basket - Shock headline for the tree huggers to fume and grab some lentils and comforting cardigan from the cupboard.

Jeez! £33 extra pounds every time you fill up a shopping basket. Fking outrageous rise them Tory f**kers!

The rise will add at least £33 a year to the average shopper's supermarket basket.

When's the last time your basket looked like this?

Looks pretty, but I doubt there's enough calories in there to keep you going much more than a day. And it might take all day to eat it.

Sorry, I'm still getting over the shock that shopping will cost me about 10p a day more due to them money grabbing Tory *****.

You'd think paying back a £1 trillion pound debt was important or something.

Not as bad as the ever lovely Polly Toynbee.

I would love to know how many people are truly poor, as in cannot afford food and shelter. It would seem the older I get the less sympathetic I become.

That would piss off the girl at the checkout having to weigh each of those fruits and vegetables one by one.

                Typical tree huggers basket.

Where's the f**king pies and bottles of wine?

Well, at least we were told in 2008 that this was going to happen. Shame they couldn't spell "George" correctly though.

£33 on shopping in the year. At least it's not the VAT bombshell that we were told to worry about a few weeks ago

I would have thought that would be the IDEAL incentive to get off their fat feckless workshy arses!!!
