You see, you're a good example of how easy it is to change peoples perceptions over time. A few years ago your stance wasn't exactly pro-Israeli was it? What the heck did they do to you? You'll definitely make a good manchurian candidate.

Israel is not perfect and they made a number of serious mistakes, such as using stuff (white phosphorus) that is questionable under Geneva Convention, however emergence of religious fanatics in Iran who are having substantial success in nuclear research changes the equation considerably.

My opinion was influenced by words and actions of Iranian leaders, maybe somehow pro-Israeli lobby in USA made Mr Ahmawhatever speak publicly about wiping Israel off map?

It may be that he started ditching the Dollar years ago, but he's gone further recently:

Ofcourse it's not perfect. Any country which is founded on terrorism is far from being perfect. You've put things quite mildly. It's not simply questionable, it's a war crime.

If you take into consideration all the UN resolutions which Israel has broken and given then fact that it's the most condemened nation on earth from fellow UN members, I would say it's Israel which aught to be targeted atleast with sanctions. But that would never happen. Not even the EU can lay it's finger. Strange isn't it?

Don't be surprised, once the US dollar collapses, Israel will become far more superior and then there will be real havoc.

Given the sustained level of istability in that region post 1947, it doesn't surprise me that 'Mr Ahmadinnerjacket' has a habit of making extraordinary remarks.

I don't agree that a dollar collapse would lead to a stronger Israel. The move away from dollars would be to the BRIC countries, none of whom are friends of Israel; quite the opposite in fact. Isreal fails along side the USA. Without the power of the USA, Isreal would indeed be wiped off the map.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

This would be true in the interim. But Israel has serious expansionist policies (eretz israel) and a complete knockout of Iran is in it's favour. Once that happens, it would most certainly dominate that region.

What "serious expansionist policies" are you talking about, maybe adding a few settlements in disputed territories that would increase size of Israel by a few hundred square kms?

Are they going to invade Iran maybe to take a slice of their land:

In this country we do not have opinions that are formed by tin pot dictators.
