They consider thier names normal - i had to try hard not to laugh

        Good Question Mr Timberwolf.

However, I fear your "cunning plan" to inveigle in to the secret boy's club will not work, because female names are excluded. You need to do it the other way round, so they don't get suspicious.

        ps..Halo...it was "Conny"

The name of almost any disease or medical condition picked at random from a medical book makes a great girl's name.

Oesophagitis? Hmm, sounds a bit Greek.

If I'd had a daughter she would have been Spudulika. Which sounds rather Greek don't you think?

Well said. I won't have any more kids, but I look forward to being a proud Grandfather to young Clamidia.

The names of flowers are quite popular for girls, I notice.

Although, I do feel that "Triffid", or "Triff" for short is definitely a boy's name.

Perhaps in these days of economic strife, parents could be sponsored by large companies to name their offspring after brands or products - like they used to do with horses in horse racing. So you could have baby 'Persil Washerswhiter Smith' or Domestos Jones etc...

Domestos - definitely a girls name.
I'm sorry, but I'll make no apologies for this
