the salesman told me they don't make S2000 anymore.
Just looked at the Honda web site and the S2000 isn't displayed when you select the range.
The showroom was empty when I went there. Looked pretty dull to be honest.

I thought you were looking to pay £10K?

Are you expecting a new one for £10k?

No. Honda garage is just down the road from me so I just wanted to have a look at one. Sat in 1 a couple of years ago and it was a bit snug.
You never know I could of been lucky. Someone might of come in at the weekend to either sell one or part exchange a used one.
I've revised the amount I going to spend. I think it's worth spending another 2K for a newer lower mileage car.

I do find mine a bit cramped TBH, and I'm 6'1. With the roof up it can feel a bit opressive; it feels very different with the roof down.

They made changes to the models in 2004 with girlier suspension, 17" wheels and nicer colours, so you want one of those if you can get one for the price.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

I'm also 6'1. I thought it was a bit snug as well last time. Wife was pregnant so she couldn't get in or out of the car. Ended up with a Saab Convertible Zzzzzzzzz. Only had it for 9 months and then had to part exchange for the saloon version. Year later and that still wasn't big enough. I'm now the owner of a Nissan X-trail. I reckon the Land Rover Discovery or X5 will be next.

I wish more people would get themselves a superbike.

There's massive shortage of donor organs in the UK and you never know when you might need one.

Quite. Old saying says - 'There are old bikers and fast bikers, but no old, fast bikers'...

I tried a TT at the weekend. Nice to drive, doesn't suffer from Torque steer, but did not feel anywhere near as fast as the s2000, even if it does have more torque. I tried the 2.0 TFSI which is supposed to be the model to buy according to What Car et al. Nice, but not that exciting. BMW z4 is next..
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”
