Hi guys,

im sure lots of you have gone skiing boarding in and around Europe. I could use some advice.

1) For new skiers Boarders , where would be the best place to go? I have skied before (10 years ago!!!! ), it will be a first for my wife/others.
2) I could do a city break in 2 days, however, how long would I need for a ski boarding trip to make it worth while?

3) Assuming there are just 2 of us, can you recommend places to go?
4) And assuming there are 6-10 of us going, can you recommend places to go?

The cheaper the better.

La Tania is cheap and in the three vallees, so good option for all levels. Apres Ski in meribel excellent too and you can cab it back resonably cheap.

Andorra cheap, but crap.

you'll need to go high (as in altitude) or north for a decent chance of seeing some snow.

Taking the big group that you mentioned in the first post, there are five different chalets coming up on Wasteland in Les Menuires, which hasn't been mentioned so far (that I saw), but is good for beginners.

Alternatively, there might be some kind of website for looking for things at the Last Minute where you could find 97 skiing holidays for groups departing in the first week of December......
