On the slopes every weekend? Can't beat it.
"I hope Celtic realise that, if their team is good enough, they will win. If they're not good enough, they'll not win - and they can't look at anybody else, whether it is referees or any other influence." - Walter Smith

You were in Basel, say no more.

One thing you would have to admit is the difference in the quality of services. Am sorry to say but state services in CH compared to the ones in Britain makes Britain look like almost a third world country. Especially if we talk about the NHS system. For me the worst thing is the social element. Despite respecting individual personalities and understanding that everyone can be different, still the average social qualities of people in the UK are way much better. One thing that strikes me here is that people on trains put bags on purpose on the other seat hoping that nobody else will sit next to you... (hope it's just my impression)
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

That's a normal German practice You just say excuse me and they move it politely.

However in Germany I find things like that and placing towels on beaches is balanced by a distinct lack of aggression i.e. you can look at some one or talk to his girlfriend, or accidentally bump into someone in a pub without him punching you in the face.

The only place they are aggressive is on the Autobahn, where they play doom.

I've been on holiday to Montreux/Vevey on a couple of occasions and given the choice between waking up to Lake Geneva every morning or a rather dull UK city I know which I'd prefer given the chance.

By the banks not inside them? Had they run out of desks.
