FYI - On December 8,1941, Franklin Roosevelt declared war on Japan, one day after they bombed Pearl Harbour. Three days later, on December 11, Hitler declared war on the United States on behalf of Germany.

Ask any atheistic group to fund any religious school and you'll get the same response. So does that mean that atheists don't care and don't have compassion either?

Many Christian schools in Muslim countries provide free education to Muslim kids. Which exposes the teachers to risks from islamists who then accuse them of proselytising.

The US declared war on Japan on 8th December, 1941 after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour. The US did NOT declare war on Germany. Germany and Italy declared war on the United States, which brought the US into the European Theatre of Operations. The US 8th Army Airforce began arriving in the United Kingdom during the late Spring/early Summer of 1942. The US Army began to arrive later.
