That can be 10 strikes, there ought to be some reasonable limit after which the law says - that's it, you are going down for a very very long time.

If those underage guys get caught drinking beer or cider should be arrested and charged.

If they smoke drugs they should get charged.

If they in any way intimidate people where they hang round they should be charged.

I think the parents have to take a huge portion of the blame here. When I was a kid I quickly learnt that if I did anything wrong then my mum would hit me and that hurt. Things would be worse if my dad found out as his hits hurt more. It's not like I got a crack often, but I did grow up remembering that I should not step out of line because my mum and dad would come down on me like a ton of bricks. If I had ever done anything which got the police involved I'd have been just as worried about the reaction of my parents as any consequences from the police.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

      I preferred version 1!

This is the point I was making earlier. I think consequences should be felt by the kids causing trouble and their parents.

They won't though the concept of responsibility and acceptance is foreign to these types of people, I really hope something bad happens to them. I know two wrongs do not make a right but it makes me sick what they did.

Aye. What I don't understand why this is not happening - it is easy to deal with those scum, feck it, arrest them every day if necessary, make them wait until court next day - get this all on record. Voters will only be happy if this scum is dealt with, a no-brainer policy really. Personally I'd agree to double police council charge I pay every year if they deal with these scumbags.

When one gets older one begins to realise that the Police are actually part of the problem, and it's a racing certainly that if you increased the numbers of Police it would eventually end up making things worse.

One of the few things the New Lie have got right is to tie up Police officers with pointless paperwork and keep them off the streets.

Remember that more laws makes for more criminals.

When you look at things on the TV like Roadwars and the like, it annoys me that these scrotes can go out, cause a load of trouble to everybody else, waste the time of 5 coppers and all they get is a night in the cells - where is the deterrant in that? The very least they should be given is some form of fine - if they can't pay it then they have to do community work - if they refuse that then put them in that big building with bars on the windows......well once we have built a few more of them that is!

Bring back the cat o' nine tails ..

'It's a cold night on deck. Everything is covered in ice. Now you order a man to the crows nest. This man knows that if his fingers should slip just once he will certainly fall to his death. Question: Why does he go to the crows nest without a complaint? You can sum it up in one word - FEAR. Fear of punishment so vivid in his mind he fears it even more than certain death itself".

They should be sent to jail - but if courts don't do it because there are not enough jails (and it's the Govt's fault), then the next best thing is to prevent these scumbags from being on streets. I don't think police time is wasted by arresting them - I am personally prepared to pay extra tax to make available extra police whose main job would be to keep arresting these scumbags.
