Slightly off topic, but Melanie Phillips is a prize mentalist and one of those columnists I love reading for the indignation value (also Heffer, Toynbee and sometimes Hitchens.) Have you read that book? I was going to but I wasn't sure if she could keep up the gag quotient for a whole book.

It always impresses me how some people are able to spout polemic from wherever they currently are on the political spectrum and she certainly has travelled a long way since her marxist-feminist days.

I have read it, it is a very interesting book. I agree with much of what she says, but disagree strongly with her views on the Iraq war and her one sided view of Israel. Her views are both right wing and pro-Blair (mind you, he isn't a real socialist is he).
However her main points on Muslim victim culture, political correctness, the failure of multiculturalism and "head in the sand" liberal appeasement of Islamist groups are spot on.

I want to read The Islamist next, about that chap who was radicalised and then turned his back on it. He probably agrees with Phillips on the liberal appeasement thing from what I gather.

I seem to remember something in Glasgow that the housing for asylum seekers wasn't available to local council tenants as it was not designated as social housing anyway (it came under some FO banner or something). There was also some concern that it was not up to standard either.

This is in sighthill, to be honest the area was so sh1te the locals didn't want it. It could have been just media bias but there were a lot of attacks on said asylum seekers and I recall a few in return and amongst their different factions. I'm not blaming anyone for that it seems madness to put such disparate people in the middle of a place with it's own huge social deprivation problems. People who would knife you for being English afterall. But then the council were offered huge amounts of money to take them and the Scots are proud of their tolerability. ???

Yes, the plan was that the money given to do up the houses would help uplift these run down areas. It was left to local councils to decide which areas were needing uplift. Recipe for corruption.

Conclusion

Let me summarise where we got.

2.8 million Asians in 2001, perhaps a quarter of a generation ago. Migration watch detailed in my ref that about 40-50% of Pakistan/Bangladeshis marry someone directly from the ISC and imported at that time. This despite these communities being here for many generations. Infact it would seem that this number 40-50% is growing with the radicalism, and rejection of our culture, of this group. There are no indications that it will go down and it appears to continue inexorably upwards.

Again from my ref the birth rates amongst these marriages, where a spouse is brought in from the ISC, is 3.9-4.7 per couple, which is infact per just 1 person of our present Asian population (as the other is imported). If you do some simple little calculations on 40% ISC spouse marriages and 60% wholly here (with no growth rate, BR=2 per couple) then in 3.5-5 generations we will be a majority Asian state with all its niceties. The white breeding rate will I forecast continue downwards as the situation gets more and more desperate.

There is no evidence that breeding practices are changing in any way apart from to perhaps drive up the Asian population hugely and the white population down not inconsiderably. N per household data that were presented were a deflection showing how ridiculous some posters are, perhaps desperate to try any old data to fit their purposes. Unfortunately for some I am a Mathematician and can see through these attempts easily.

I think it's pretty simple isn't it. BTW I don't follow people around and make it my life to respond to all, I may not even see it.

All who are here and we cannot get rid of of course should stay. The Indians have been a fine addition to our country but others have not and make no attempt to.
