Surely it depends whether that section of the populous sees itself as part of the community or a seperate entity. From what I have heard, 2 and 3rd generation UK muslims are on the whole more radical than their forefathers. The communities (muslim Vs none) are more segregated than ever. Well, I've been called a pedant before, but it's a useful trait when someone comes up with some spurious data, rounds it up to suit their needs, applies some incorrect assumptions and gets the sums wrong to try to demonstrate that their scaremongering predictions are 'true'. Sadly that is true. The Muslim population of the US, on the whole, appears to have integrated better. What are they doing right - or are they just getting more educated Muslims?

Almost certainly, if you don't have the required skills the US doesn't want you. Compare that with the UK situation. Aparently we don't even have enough people to clean or serve in the shops. I don't remember that problem 15 years ago.
