I went this year with a friend and her 2 teenage kids. Was a decent day, although the weather helped. Good music, loads to do, decent food.Originally posted by psychocandy View Post

One caveat: I think what I'm saying is right.....but according to the wife I always do, so big pinch of salt!Originally posted by psychocandy View Postapparently the CCJ wasn't removed when they paid (I guess it should have been)
If a court ordered amount is paid within 28 days then no CCJ is publicly registered. If paid after 28 days, or not paid at all, then a CCJ is registered and stays on public record for 6 years, I don't think there's any way for this to be removed unless there was an error in it being applied. If the company paid after ages, then the CCJ will be a public record so nothing they can do.
For this reason, all the 'You will get a CCJ and never get any credit' letters from parking companies are just empty threats. If you fight your parking invoice in court and lose, and pay within 28 days, you don't get a CCJ publicly registered and no credit reference agency will be aware of it.Comment

Too early to celebrate ...
The National Living Wage (NLW) will rise to £10.42 from 1 April 2023, an increase of 92 pence or 9.7 per cent.
