He's a leading Hollywood A-lister for several decades, noted for his charisma. Hardly needs to assert his "alpha" status. Whereas sniping about it on the internet is classic Beta male behaviour.

Anyway it was interesting to watch the media tone change over the day. It's now changed from simply reporting the story with a bit of bemusement "Will slaps Chris" to a decided judgement "The Will Smith Attack". The Guardian for instance is calling for his head as if he kicked the tulip out of the guy rather than a quick slap which didn't even seem to hurt.
I saw one 'article' railing about how Rock "could have been killed" - good grief.

Next year a slap at the Oscars will be old hat. Someone will have to whip out a gun and shoot a person on stage!

I reckon there's every chance this was a pre-arranged publicity stunt. After all, public interest in the Oscars, with its relentless and ever increasing wokery, has been seriously flagging in recent years.

Also, I can't believe the obsessive interest in this by the pathetic Daily Fail (and probably all the other tabloids). I counted over 20 articles on it in the Main Online! But that said, even this discussion thread has reached nearly 10 pages.

Just for the record, Alopecia isn't usually a serious medical condition.

On it's own no, but there are other conditions it can come with that can be serious.

So do you think it's acceptable for Rock to mock a woman who has lost her hair due to alopecia? Or only if she's famous and had an affair as that makes her fair game?
